Astar’s client is open source and can be found on their github repository.

Sudo pallet

The Sudo pallet is active and is owned by a 3-of-5 multisig consisting of members of the Astar Foundation.

Collators

Astar allows for any collator with enough stake and nominations to join the decentralized collator set.

Council

Astar governance is done off-chain via their forum. Members of the forum who are active and attain a “Level 2” membership by posting on the forum are granted voting rights for voting on proposals.
